safety technicians do free child car seat inspections and education on the 2nd
Wednesday of every month at the Washington State Patrol in Kennewick. Call

workshop has followed the core curriculum guidelines of the University of Washington AIDS Education and Training Center as approved by the state of Washington's Department of Health and Department of Professional Licensing.

We provide different group
level educational classes, interventions and outreach for high risk
individuals and also our drug treatment facilities and community partners. If
you would like more information on this please contact Melissa Baughman, Health Leslie Rivera, RN, BSN . We also
provide education to our HIV positive clients to prevent further
infections.

Environmental Health staff
provides information regarding the symptoms and prevention of animal-borne
diseases such as Hantavirus, West
Nile, and Rabies.

The primary focus of this
program is to provide information to well users on appropriate testing and
the importance of water quality. Additionally, we provide review and approval
service for those wells serving 2 homes.

Anyone who installs,
alters or repairs an on-site sewage system is required to first obtain a
permit from the Benton-Franklin Health District.

review, permitting, and inspection of all solid waste disposal sites.
