We offer insurance billing, registration assistance, accounts receivable management, payment policy, sliding fee discount, and access to the credit card form.  Application enrollment assistance for Apple Health for Kids is also available.

Insurance Billing

The Benton-Franklin Health Department is not contracted with any medical insurance carriers; however, we are pleased to offer the following services as a courtesy to our patients:

  • Courtesy Insurance Billing for Personal Health Services (except for Travel Clinic Services). Because we are not contracted with your insurance company, all payments and/or denials generally go directly to the insured, therefore some clinics may require payment at the time of service.

  • Medicare billing for Medicare covered services.

  • Medicaid billing for all Medicaid covered services.

  • Group Health billing.

  • Review of charges to assure accuracy.

Registration

To ensure accurate registration and insurance billing (when appropriate) please be prepared with the following information upon registration.

  • Medicare Card or Medical Coupon.

  • Insurance Identification card.

  • Social Security Number.

  • Household Annual Income when applying for a sliding fee discount.

Payment is due upon receipt of your billing statement. If the need arises to make payment arrangements, contact our billing office at (509) 460 4207.
